‘Every Young Women’s Battle’
So normally I don’t really enjoy these sort of ‘Christian self help/guide’ books. But I decided to read this one (mainly just to have something to read), fully intending on getting through this as quickly as possible.
However, just on the first page, I was just like ‘…’ . The night before I had started reading it, I had, had an argument with my friend about my vulnerability, not being honest and keeping my ‘secrets’ to myself. Then I open it up and BAM that’s the first thing it talks about.
I’ve just started Chapter four and already I’ve been convicted? Think that word maybe to strong, but I’ve recognised several things already. Eventually, I’ve had to put the book down, so I can take it in and hopefully let God speak to me about it.
Normally, I wouldn’t write about a book or recommend a book like this especially without reading it all, but yeah this one I do.
It’s full title is ‘Every Young Women’s Battle. Guarding your Mind, Heart, and Body in a Sex-Saturated world’ - Shannon Ethridge and Stephen Arterburn.
There is also books on this but, Every Man’s, Every Young Man’s and Every Women’s version of this book.
